By the time of EXPO-2017, a prestigious international exhibition which will demonstrate contemporary industrial achievements, Astana will get a new image and style with new architectural monuments and city sculptures, reports to tengrinews Sultan Ayapbergenov, the Head of the Major Regional Architects Department of the Astana Architecture and City Planning Administration.
Besides, bus-stop signboards, nameplates, electronic boards and street signs will be set right in 2016. For convenience of tourists, all signs will be in three languages, English, Kazakh and Russian.
It is to remind that in 2017 the capital of Kazakhstan will hold an international exhibition EXPO-2017. The exhibition center of EXPO-2017 will occupy 174 ha, exhibition pavilions will be on the territory of 25ha. There will be around 38 buildings by the time of the exhibition. In addition, by 2017 infrastructure will be built and modernized in Astana; first of all an airport and railway station.
