The hotel "Serdar" is located near the city of Turkmenbashi,in the town Avaz which is considered to be the main summer sea vacation area in Turkmenistan, called the Caspian Riviera. 11-storey white marble building literally grew up in a few hundred meters from the sandy beach shore.

The new hotel, built in 2001, is designed for 226 guests.
