Shymkent is the third largest city of Kazakhstan. Its history is around eight centuries old, but during this time it has become a large cultural, trading and industrial centre in the south of the country. Shymkent City Tour opens up the most interesting that this beautiful city can boast with, and learn much of its history.
Tour itinerary:
Shymkent is located on the crossroad of the Great Silk Road. In spite of being a modern city, with industrial infrastructure, Shymkent along with cities of Otrar, Turkestan, Syganak and Sauran remains as a historical and cultural center on the South Kazakhstan region with a high potential for tourism development.
Our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel in Shymkent. The tour will begin with a visit to the historical part of the city - the historical and cultural complex «Shym Kala», the park «20th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan», Ordabasy Square.
In continuation to the tour, a tour to the new part of Shymkent city: visit to the observation deck of the monument a Baidibek bi, a zoological park, a dendrological park named after A. Askarov.
After a trip which covers long time in history, from ancient times to the recent history, you will be transferred back to your hotel. End of the tour service.
