The Moscow International Forum on Franchising, Investment and Partnership Opportunities BUYBRAND Expo to take place in Moscow on September 18-20 September 2019.
The largest franchise event in Russia, CIS countries and Eastern Europe BUYBRAND Expo gathered 204 brands from 19 countries and hosted over 5000 visitors. 30 Russian and foreign speakers carried out workshops and seminars.
The exhibition started with the Conference devoted to the 15th anniversary of RFA (Russian Franchise Association) “Franchising for development of business”. National business and government officials took part in the Conference with talks on conditions and perspectives of franchising in Russia.
There were 204 brands from 19 countries with wide range of required initial investment capital - from $20 000 to $950 000 – at BUYBRAND Expo. Such brands as Winx, Lavazza Espression, Dunkin Donuts, FISSMAN, Speed Queen, Wetzel’s Pretzels, Black Star and others were represented for the first time. Along with that there were quite a lot of companies that provide various services for business (bank products, accountant services, security systems and etc.).
Over 5000 people, entrepreneurs and running businessmen from all over Russia, Eastern Europe, CIA countries and Baltic States visited BUYBRAND Expo.
International Franchise Forum that is traditionally held at BUYBRAND EXPO featured the participation of such significant business owners as Rostislav Ordovskiy-Tanaevskiy Blanko and Reinhold Sharf. Mr. Ordovskiy-Tanaevskiy Blanko, founder of “ROSTIK GROUP” told his success story of launching and developing the first Russian franchise “Rosinter Restaurants Holding”. Reinhold Sharf founder and owner of “Sharf Coffeeshop GMBH” shared his vision and philosophy of coffee houses of the future.
Altogether 12 seminars and workshops and 4 round tables were held during the three days. For the first time round table was devoted to “Franchising in hotel industry”. Representatives of such world hotel chains as Hilton, Marriott, Holiday Inn and others took part in discussion that gained keen interest of listeners. By and large one could say that franchising in hotel industry is a perspective sector of investments in Russia both in low and high cost segments.
It was the first time that International Licensing Salon was launched within the framework of BUYBRAND Expo. Licensing brands and products that were represented at licensor’s booths attracted attention of manufacturers and chain owners. Business forum “Conditions and Perspectives of Licensing Market in Russia” acquired certain interest of licensors and licensees, currently up and running and in the planning stage, as well as of all those that are still just looking at this kind of partnership.
