Some quarters from Samarkand’s heart – Registan Square – there is a small and cozy hotel - the Kamila with two courtyards where it is pleasant to relax with a teabowl on trestles or swim in a pool. Away from noisy central streets, the Kamila will afford you an opportunity to enjoy an appeasement and unhasting rhythm of life of Uzbek makhalla (residential quarter). The Hotel motto is “The Guests should feel at home staying far from it”. Actually, it is a real pleasure to take rest in its small but cozy rooms after an eventful day.

“Nice owner”Chitra & Robindra Singh (Canada)

No fruit on the second day for breakfast, even when requested. no wifi service at all. Bathroom did not have proper shower enclosure thus water went all over the floor. However the owner corrected problem and we were very satisfied with his respect.

A bit more attention to detail would help this place so much. Consequently, it stays beyond its own potential.

Hotel patron was very friendly, nice family ambience, really enjoyed the garden. Food however was over priced.
