The route of the Afrosiyob high-speed train (which travels from Tashkent to Samarkand and Karshi) has been extended to Shakhrisabz. Trains run daily, and the journey takes about 4.5 hours.
Train No. 760Z leaves Tashkent’s northern railway station at 08:00 and arrives at Shakhrisabz’s Kitab station at 12:25. It stops in Samarkand at 10:16 and Karshi at 11:30. The returning train (No. 759Z) leaves Shakhrisabz at 15:43 and arrives in Tashkent at 20:10, stopping in Karshi at 15:43 and Samarkand at 16:48.
