Start your tour to the Ming Tombs (50 km, 1 h), the best-preserved imperial burial site in China with a history of over 500 years. You’ll visit Changling, the largest and most important of the tombs, where Emperor Yongle and Empress Xu are buried.
Before lunch, enjoy a 45-minute stop at a jade carving factory (30 km, 40 min), where you’ll learn about this traditional Chinese art form that blends skilled craftsmanship with centuries of cultural heritage.
Enjoy your Chinese lunch at a local restaurant before heading to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall (70 km, 1 h 20 min). Spend about two hours exploring this scenic part of the Wall, known for its forested surroundings and seasonal beauty. The wall winds up and down the mountain, forming a sharp curve known as the Ox-Horn Wall - a striking and unique feature of this section.
After the visit, return to your hotel in the late afternoon (70 km, 1 h 20 min).
