The most popular image of Kazakhstan’s nature is vast steppe with furious winds. But just four hours drive from Astana there is a wonderful national park with crystal blue lakes, pine forest and low mountains. Protected by government, this monument of nature is famous for utmost clean air with coniferous aroma. Borovoe is the best place to relax for both body and mind. It must be the best place for meditation.
Tour itinerary:
In the morning, meet your guide with a driver at the hotel lobby. Depart Astana and drive to Burabai National Park, also known as Borovoe (270 km, 4 h.). On the way, your guide will tell you about nature sights of Borovoe, its history and legends. Arrival at the park area. With 14 big and number of small lakes Borovoe is one of the most picturesque mountain resorts in Central Asia. Have a walk along fir trees and enormous rocks of unusual forms, each having its own name. Lunch and free time. Take a hike to Bolektau Mountain, from where you can get the best views on the National Park.
Drive back to Astana. Drop off at your hotel. End of the tour service.
