International Art Festival "YONAR"

The Tourism Committee together with the festival of electronic music, art and science "Stihia" will organize a unique event "YONAR" from September 11 to 13, 2025, on the picturesque salt marsh Barsa-Kelmes, located 200 km from Nukus. This is another step in the development of tourism, which will not only attract the attention of travelers and creative individuals from all over the world, but will also contribute to strengthening the image of the region as a dynamic center of culture and innovation, creating new opportunities for economic growth and sustainable development.

"YONAR" is not just a creative settlement and an exhibition of art installations, it is an innovative tourism project that reveals the cultural wealth of the region and attracts the attention of the international community. The festival is close in concept to the famous Burning Man, which opens up new prospects for the development of creative tourism and attracting artists, musicians and creative groups from all over the world.

At least five large-scale installations are planned for the first YONAR. Participants will live in traditional yurts or tents, and generators will provide electricity. The festival's special feature is the complete absence of trade: all the necessary conditions for living and creativity are created and shared by the community itself.
