As reported by the official website of OSC (Open Stock Company) ‘Uzjeldorpass’, additional routes of high-speed train ‘Afrosiyob’ have been launched since 21 August 2014.
The modern high-speed train ‘‘Afrosiyob’ of the Spanish production runs the route Tashkent-Samarkand – Tashkent daily Monday to Friday, and twice on weekends.
Due to the increase of the passenger flow on this route, additional trips on Thursdays and Fridays are created. From August 21, 2014 additional runs of a high speed deluxe train «Afrasiab» № 760/759 depart on Thursdays and Fridays at 07:00, and from Samarkand at 18:00.
According to the press service of the company the run № 761/762 follows a regular schedule on weekdays leaving Tashkent at 08:00 and Samarkand at 17:00.
