The Australian company Skyscanner published a list of the most beautiful Instagram places in the whole world, which included 15 places that are the most perfect for taking photos. Samarkand was listed as number 6 out of 15.
"Central Asia holds a whole host of ancient treasures thanks to the impact of the old Silk Road, and Samarkand is one of its most startling stops. The whole town has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and you can take some seriously beautiful shots of the Registan public square, the Gur-e-Amir mausoleum, and the Bibi-Khanym Mosque,” wrote the experts from the Australian service.
Skyscanner also included locations in Egypt, USA, Malaysia, Peru, Japan, China, Fiji, Australia, and Thailand, plus other locations. Instagram is currently one of the most popular social networks in the world.
