An awards ceremony was held on March 7th to recognize the “100 Top-Sustainable Destinations” at the Awards Hall at the ITB-2018 Conference in Berlin. The High Mountains Pamir Region was included in the list of top-100 destinations in the world, and took first place in the Asia-Pacific region.
Representatives of 12 international organizations chose 32 finalists and published a list of 10 winners. For other categories, Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, Slovenia, Vail, Gozo Island, and Bhutan were also announced as winners.
