Mercure Khiva is a new modern four-star hotel in Khiva, opened in 2026. One of its main advantages is its location close to Itchan Kala, allowing guests to combine the comfort of a contemporary hotel with easy access to the city’s major historic sights, which can be reached in around 10–15 minutes on foot.

Mercure Khiva, part of the Accor group, became the first internationally branded hotel in the city and the fourth Mercure property in Uzbekistan. One of the brand’s defining features is its strong focus on local culture, reflected in the design, cuisine and atmosphere. Accor also promotes sustainable practices and high environmental standards across its hotels.

Mercure Khiva stands out for its stylish contemporary interiors. Traditional Uzbek motifs are given a modern interpretation through arched forms, carved elements, ornamental niches and bright patterned textiles.

Natural wood plays a particularly important role, appearing in the furniture, doors, and throughout the large aivan with its carved columns. The same motif continues in the lobby, where striking golden light installations shaped like stylised trees form one of the focal points of the interior.

Mercure Khiva has 145 rooms in several categories, with distinctive interiors, modern comforts and thoughtful details. One of the most distinctive features is the illuminated niches above the beds, featuring traditional Uzbek ornaments. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a television, free Wi-Fi and a safe. Each room also has a private bathroom with all the necessary amenities.

Mercure Khiva has an indoor swimming pool, sauna, massage room and fitness centre. The hotel also has two restaurants and a bar, as well as another bar on the rooftop with an open terrace overlooking historic Khiva. Three conference rooms are available for meetings and events. Other facilities and services include a lift, ATM, parking, room service and transfers.
