The Center of National Arts in Tashkent hosts fair-exhibition "Bazar-Art 2012", organized by Fund "Forum of culture and art of Uzbekistan" and IJOD Association of Artists, Art Critics and Craftsmen of Uzbekistan.
Given event is carried out by Fund Forum twice a year, and every new fair is characterized by increasing number of visitors – people who love national handmade goods. Here you can buy different kinds of household items, clothes, shoes, jewellery and souvenirs. All those products are made by hands under antique technologies, passed on from one generation to another. It s good to notice, that new generation of craftsmen in Uzbekistan continue traditions of their ancestors as well as create their own unique and original style of works, where are combined both national flavor and modern trends.
The exhibition is barely fitted into huge two -floor building of the Centre and variety of souvenir products boodles people’s mind. Current exhibition traditionally has brought together craftsmen and their works all over Uzbekistan: here you can see bright ceramics from Rishtan, luxurious carpets from Samarkand, Eastern decorations from Bukhara, Karakul fur coats and hats from Khiva, colorful silk fabrics from different regions of Uzbekistan, etc. As soon as you will like any thing at the fair, you can buy it, immediately becoming the owner of unusual accessory or household goods.
