A one-day tour from Kutaisi to Prometheus Cave and Martvili Canyon is the best choice for those who admire the works of art of Nature, which has spent millions of years creating its masterpieces. In the first part of the tour, you will visit the underworld in the Prometheus cave, where hundreds of stalactites hang from the ceilings, powerful stalagmites grow from the ground, and all this is illuminated by multi-colored spotlights. And in the second part, a pleasant and easy boat trip along the bottom of the Martvili canyon awaits you, where the slow flow of water makes you forget about time.
Tour itinerary:
In the morning, we will drive to the Prometheus cave. Six spectacular halls full of stalactites, stalagmites, and underground waterfalls, lakes, and rivers await you for a 45-minute long walk in the mysterious atmosphere of the cave. We will then visit Martvili canyon. On the way we will pass local villages with the eye-catching charming yards typical only to this area. Take a small boat trip inside the Canyon, see one of the nature's most wonderful creations – waterfall. Entering the gorge's another side, we will stroll over the canyon's waters watching it changing its colors on every turn and stone. This is truly one of the best places for selfies!
We will then return to Kutaisi and finish our One-Day Tour to Prometheus Cave and Martvili Canyon.
