The Muso To’ra Hotel is located inside the Itchan-Kala fortress, making it an ideal base for enjoying the many things to do in Khiva. Since opening in 2019 following the remodelling of an old and decrepit madrassah, it has been offering excellent amenities and traditional Uzbek hospitality to its guests.
The architecture of the ancient madrassah is still very visible: the corners of the building have minarets, and guests enter the hotel through carved wooden doors installed under a large brick arch.
The rooms are small, because they used to be the cells in which the madrassah’s students lived. Nevertheless, they are well-equipped, with comfortable beds, private bathrooms, air conditioning, and TVs.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, and there is also a restaurant that serves Khiva’s unique cuisine.
