Uzbekistan entered the top-15 emerging travel places for 2015American edition The Huffington Post published the list of 15 top emerging travel places for 2015, where Uzbekistan was enlisted the 7th top destination.

Every year, emerging destinations brimming with travel potential rise in popularity, without the crazy crowds and tourist traps. More travelers are seeking out exciting, edgy and unusual corners of the globe and want to discover these before the masses, - The Huffington Post reports.

Uzbekistan was mentioned in the list as a rich cultural centre, archeological and architectural gem of the Central Asia and a key link at the Great Silk Road. Travelers are recommended to visit Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva – the oldest fabled towns in the world. You will feel the charm of the orient looking into the chaikhanas (tea-houses) and walking in the loud and bright bazaars. Don’t underestimate Tashkent – the capital of Uzbekistan, a modern city steeped in history. Among other beauties of the country, The Huffington Post noted quiet mountain landscapes and “marsian” view of the Aral Sea.
