Our one-week St. Petersburg tour gives you more time to discover magnificent palaces and other historical and cultural sights in and around Russia’s “northern capital”, including the ancient city of Vyborg near the Russian-Finnish border. The elegant city of St. Petersburg, founded by Peter the Great, is an excellent base from which to discover UNESCO World Heritage architecture and fascinating history. Considered the “Venice of the North”, it boasts numerous canals and over 400 bridges, as well as several palaces and a world-famous art museum, the Hermitage.
