Tour Itinerary:
The guide and the driver will meet you at Dushanbe International airport. Dushanbe layover tour starts with a visit to National Museum of Antiquities of Tajikistan (closed on Mondays) that includes the exhibits on history, natural history and art (Buddha in Nirvana is one of the valuable exhibits of the museum). Continue to Hissar fortress (30 km from Dushanbe) where you can see Madrasah Kukhna. Return to Dushanbe and visit Gurminj Musical Instruments Museum, Ismail Somoni Monument and Rudaki Park.
During the tour you will have lunch in a local restaurant. The driver and guide will round up the tour bringing you back to the airport.
The program usually takes 4-5 hours, but easily customised upon your request.
