Tour itinerary:

Day 1, Fr: Tashkent – arrival
 
Arrival in Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel. Time for rest. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2, Sa: Tashkent – Urgench – Khiva
 
At 9:00 in the morning meet with your group and guide at the lobby of the hotel. Start sightseeing Tashkent. Visit Old City part of Tashkent with Khast-Imom Complex and Chor-Su bazaar, continue to the center of Tashkent with Amir Temur Square, Independence Square and Applied Arts Museum. At 16:40 transfer to Tashkent domestic airport for flight HY1057 at 18:40 (1093 km, 1 h 40 min). Arrival in Urgench at 20:20. Transfer to the hotel in Khiva (30 km, 35 min.). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3, Su: Khiva – Urgench – Bukhara
 
Check out from the hotel after breakfast. At 9:00 guided sightseeing tour program in Khiva: Visit a UNESCO World Heritage site Ichan-Qala fortress. In Ichan-Qala fortress visit Kunya-Ark, Sayeed Alauddin Mausoleum, Arab-Mukhamadkhan Madrasah, Oq-Masjid Mosque, Madrasah of Hodjan Berdi-biya, Shirgazikhan, Abdullakhan, Juma Mosque, Allakulikhan Madrasah, Tosh-Khovli Palace, Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum, Minaret of Islom-Khoja. Free time in the afternoon. At 19:10 transfer to Urgench airport for flight HY1058 to Bukhara at 21:10. Arrival in Bukhara at 22:10. Transfer to the hotel for overnight.

Day 4, Mo: Bukhara
 
In the morning start walking tour in Bukhara. Visit the Mausoleum of Samani dynasty, Ark Fortress, Chashma-Ayub, Kalon Ensemble, Miri-Arab Madrasah, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan Madrasahs, trade domes, Lyabi Khauz complex, Chor-Minor Madrasah. Dinner and national show at Nodir Devan Begi Madrasah. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5, Tu: Bukhara – Samarkand
 
Continue sightseeing tour with a guide. Drive out of the city to Sitorai Mokhi-khosa – summer residence of Bukhara’s last emir. Head to Mausoleum of Bakhoutdin Naqshbandi and Chor Bakr necropolis. In the afternoon depart to Samarkand (280 km, 4 hours’ drive). Stop on the way at Caravanserai Rabat Malik dating back to the 11th century. Arrive in Samarkand late in the afternoon, check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6, We: Samarkand
 
In the morning meet your guide and driver at the lobby of the hotel. Start sightseeing in Samarkand. Visit a spectacular Registan Square, remains of Bibi Khahum mosque, Ulugbek observatory, Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, central Samarkand bazaar and Gur Emir Mausoleum, authentic shrine of Tamerlane. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7, Th: Samarkand – Tashkent
 
Check out from the hotel till noon. Continue sightseeing, you will visit Afrosiyob Museum and the Tomb of Saint Daniel. Then drive to Koni Ghil village to explore traditional way of making Samarkand paper from mulberry. Enjoy free time with the car and driver at your disposal after sightseeing tour. At 16:00 transfer to the railway station. Take the fast-speed Afrosiyob train departing to Tashkent at 17:00 (300 km). Scheduled arrival time is 19:10. Pick-up and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9, Sa: Tashkent – Oybek BP – Khujand
 
In the morning transfer to Khujand, through Oybek cross border point. Meet on Tajikistan side. Transfer to Khujand (70 km, 1 h). Check in to the hotel. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10, Su: Khujand
 
Our guide and driver will meet you at the hotel. Start sightseeing in Khujand. Visit the Museum of Archeology and Fortification, Shaikh Muslihiddin Mosque, Payshanba Bazaar, the biggest bazaar in Tajikistan, Arbob Palace named after S. Urunhodlaev (20th century), “Tajik Sea” Kayraccum HPS (Hydro Power Station) - the symbol of People’s Friendship built in 1968. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11, Mo: Khujand – Penjikent
 
Drive to Penjikent (260 km, 5-6 h.). Arrival and check in to the guest house. Meet you guide to start sightseeing: Museum of Rudaki considered as the father of Persian Poetry; ancient Penjikent - ruins of old Sogdian town founded in the 5th century and abandoned in the 8th century by Arabs. Foundations of houses, a citadel with a couple of Zoroastrian fire temples and city bazaar are visible in the excavated ruins. Overnight at the guest house.
Day 12, Tu: Penjikent – Seven Lakes – Penjikent
 
Drive to Seven Lakes (80 km). On the way you will visit Sarazm, one of the most ancient settlements in Central Asia with 5500 years old history. In 2010 Sarazm was added to the UNESCO Human Heritage list. The main spot of the day is HafKul meaning seven lakes in Persian. These lakes in the mountains of Tajikistan are famous for their different colours: 1.Mijgon, 2. Soya, 3. Hushyor, 4. Nophin lakes (2139 m above sea level), Khurdak, 6.Marguzor, 7.Hazorchashma lakes (2400 m above sea level). Picnic at the lake. Drive back to Penjikent (80 km). Overnight at the guest house.
Day 13, We: Penjikent – Iskanderkul – Saritag
 
Drive to Saritag via Iskanderkul (240 km, 6-7 h.). According to the legend, the Lake Iskanderkul was named after Alexander the Great, known as Iskander in the East. People say that Alexander the Great’s path to Central Asia from India laid through this lake. Arrival and overnight at the guest house.
Day 14, Th: Saritag – Dushanbe
 
Drive to Dushanbe (160 km, 3-4 h.). Start city tour in the capital and the biggest city of Tajikistan as you arrive. Visit Tajikistan National Museum of Antiquities, where the famous statue of Buddha in Nirvana is preserved. Continue to Botanical garden and local bazaar. Drive out of the city (30 km) to the remains of Hissar Fortress (18th century). Visit two local madrasas and a mausoleum. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 15, Fri: Dushanbe – departure
 
Check-out from the hotel at noon. Free time until transfer to Dushanbe Airport. End of the tour.
