Tour itinerary:

Day 1, Tu: Ashgabat – arrival
 
Arrive in Ashgabat. Transfer to the hotel. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.
*If you are arriving from the neighbour countries, we will meet you at the border crossing.
Day 2, We: Ashgabat – Mary – Ashgabat
 
Your Turkmenistan group tours starts with 8:00 am morning flight to Mary. Scheduled arrival is at 08:40. Explore ancient city of Merv, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site that was a major center of international trade and crafts located on the Silk Road. Return to Mary. Visit History museum of the region. Transfer to the airport for evening flight to Ashgabat at 19:00. Scheduled arrival is at 20:00. Transfer to the hotel for overnight.

Day 3, Th: Ashgabat
 
Start the day with a sightseeing tour in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan that has recently been noted by the Guinness Book of World Records as having the most white marble-clad buildings in the world. During the city tour you will explore an archeological site of Old Nisa included in UNESCO World Heritage list and Turkmenbashi Mosque-Mausoleum, one of the biggest mosques in Central Asia. You will visit the National Museum of History, the Monument of Neutrality, Ertugrul Gazi Mosque, newly built Independence Park and (Sunday) bazaar. Intense and interesting excursion also includes a stopover at the Akhalteke horse stables. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4, Fr: Ashgabat – Darvaza gaz crater
 
Your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby in Ashgabat and drive to Darvaza gas crater located in the middle of Karakum desert (280km, 4h). On the way stop at Erbent village to witness life of locals surrounded by desert. Arrive at the crater, set up the camp. Enjoy a delicious fire-cooked meal for dinner near the burning gas crater. Overnight in tents.
Day 5, Sa: Darvaza – Kunya-Urgench – Shavat border point
 
In the morning depart Gaz crater and drive to Kunya-Urgench. Visit mausoleums of Turabek-Khanym, Sultan Tekesh, Sultan Il Arslan, Najmuddin-Kubra, Sultan Ali. Discover the Kutlug Timur Minaret and Kyrk Molla Hill. After lunch drive to Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan border point Shavat-Dashoguz. Go through border formalities on both checkpoints. Cross 1.5 km neutral zone (transportation may not be available). Meet your Uzbekistan driver and drive to Khiva (60 km, 1 h). Transfer to the hotel.

Day 6, Su: Khiva – Urgench – Bukhara
 
Check out from the hotel after breakfast. At 9:00 guided sightseeing tour program in Khiva: Visit a UNESCO World Heritage site Ichan-Qala fortress. In Ichan-Qala fortress visit Kunya-ArkSayeed Alauddin MausoleumArab-Mukhamadkhan Madrasah, Oq-Masjid Mosque, Madrasah of Hodjan Berdi-biya, Shirgazikhan, Abdullakhan, Juma Mosque, Allakulikhan Madrasah, Tosh-Khovli Palace, Pakhlavan Makhmud MausoleumMinaret of Islom-Khoja. Free time in the afternoon. At 19:10 transfer to Urgench airport for flight HY1058 to Bukhara at 21:10. Arrival in Bukhara at 22:10. Transfer to the hotel for overnight.

Day 7, Mo: Bukhara
 
In the morning start walking tour in Bukhara. Day 8, Tu: Bukhara – Samarkand
 
Continue sightseeing tour with a guide. Drive out of the city to Sitorai Mokhi-khosa – summer residence of Bukhara’s last emir. Head to Mausoleum of Bakhoutdin Naqshbandi and Chor Bakr necropolis. In the afternoon depart to Samarkand (280 km, 4 hours’ drive). Stop on the way at Caravanserai Rabat Malik dating back to the 11th century. Arrive in Samarkand late in the afternoon, check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9, We: Samarkand
 
In the morning meet your guide and driver at the lobby of the hotel. Start sightseeing in Samarkand. Visit a spectacular Registan Square, remains of Bibi Khahum mosqueUlugbek observatoryShakhi-Zinda Necropolis, central Samarkand bazaar and Gur Emir Mausoleum, authentic shrine of Tamerlane. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10, Th: Samarkand – Tashkent
 
Check out from the hotel till noon. Continue sightseeing: visit Afrosiyob Museum and the Tomb of Saint Daniel. Then drive to Koni Ghil village to explore traditional way of making Samarkand paper from mulberry. Enjoy free time with car and driver at your disposal after sightseeing tour. At 16:00 transfer to railway station. Take the fast-speed Afrosiyob train departing to Tashkent at 17:00 (300 km). Scheduled arrival time is 19:10. Pick-up and transfer to the hotel.

Day 11, Fr: Tashkent – departure
 
Check out from the hotel till noon. Transfer to the airport. End of the tour.
