From August 7 to 9, 2026, the “Melon Festival” ("Qovun sayli") will be held on the territory of the "Arda Khiva" complex in the city of Khiva.
As part of the festival, organized by the Tourism Committee and the Khorezm hokimiyat, cities and districts of the region will present an exhibition-fair of sweet melons grown in their respective areas. The pavilions will be festively decorated, reflecting regional characteristics.
The festival features an opening ceremony, melon exhibition, competitions, and cultural programs. Farmers, artisans, and artists from all regions of Uzbekistan participate in the festival. National folklore ensembles, pop stars, and dance groups participate in the festival.
Active participants in the "Qovun sayli" will be awarded valuable prizes from the Khorezm regional hokimiyat and sponsors in various categories.
The main festival events will take place in the "Arda Khiva" complex, featuring gala concerts with performances by local and international stars.
Entrance is free and open to all guests.
