The 5-day Chengdu Highlights Tour brings together the cultural and natural treasures of Sichuan Province – world-famous landmarks, Buddhist heritage, and unforgettable wildlife experiences – all within one well-paced itinerary. As one of our most rewarding China tours, it offers an immersive introduction to one of the country's most fascinating regions.
Chengdu sets the tone from the start. Historic districts and the peaceful Wenshu Temple give way to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, one of the world's leading panda conservation centres and home to China's most beloved residents.
From there, the tour heads to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Leshan Giant Buddha and Mount Emei – two of Sichuan's most celebrated attractions. The world's largest stone Buddha is a sight that needs no embellishment, while Mount Emei's sacred temples and mountain scenery have drawn pilgrims and travellers alike for centuries.
The 5-day Chengdu Highlights Tour is an excellent choice for travellers seeking a balanced introduction to Sichuan, combining iconic sights, rich cultural traditions and beautiful landscapes in a comfortable and carefully planned journey.
