The tour starts at Uzbek-Tajik border crossing Oybek, where driver will meet you to head to Khujand (70 km, 1 h). Sightseeing in Khujand includes Republican Historical-Ethnographic Museum, Timur Malik Fortress, Archaeological Museum, Mosque and Madrasah of Sheikh Muslehiddin, Panjshanbe Bazaar.

After breakfast, drive to Istaravshan and have a short sightseeing tour upon arrival. Visit Mug Tepa, one of the ancient settlements in Tajikistan. Continue to Khazrati Shoh architectural complex that consists of Khazrati Shoh Mausoleum – the grave of brother of Kusam ibn Abbas; Khudayar Valami Mausoleum, and Mosque Namozgoh. Dinner and overnight in the guesthouse.

In the morning, drive to Seven Lakes. On the way, visit Lenin statue on a dam of Urotepa reservation. Continue driving to the lakes. Each lake in mountains of Tajikistan has a different color. The Seven Lakes are: Mijgon, Soya, Hushyor, Nofin (2139 m above sea), Hurdak, Marguzor, and Hazorchashma (2400 m above sea level). Have picnic on the seventh Lake, Hazorchashma. Continue driving to the guesthouse for dinner and overnight.

Drive to Dushanbe (305 km, 6-7 h) via the Anzob Pass (3373 m above sea). On the way, enjoy spectacular views of Iskanderkul Lake. Arrive in Dushanbe in the afternoon. Check in to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel in Dushanbe. Start guided city tour with visiting of Tajikistan National Museum of Antiquities (closed on Mondays) that includes the exhibits on history, natural history and art (Buddha in Nirvana is one of the valuable exhibits of the museum). Walk along Rudaki Avenue, Statue of Ismail Samani, Rudaki Park with Flag Pole. Lunch.
Transfer to Hissar Fortress (30 km from Dushanbe) where you can see Kukhna Madrasah. Return to Dushanbe and visit Mehrgon Bazaar, Istiqlol Complex with museum and Dushanbe Imam Abu Hanifa Cathedral Mosque. Overnight at the hotel.
