A Bukhara day tour from Samarkand is one of the most interesting Uzbekistan tours, offering the chance to explore one of the country’s oldest cities and discover its main attractions. During the tour, you will stroll through the ancient streets of Bukhara’s UNESCO-listed historic centre, explore its trading domes and admire the majestic Kalyan Minaret, as well as the Ark Fortress and the city’s famous mosques, madrasahs and mausoleums.
Although the cities are around 280 km apart, the high-speed train can get you to Bukhara in around an hour and a half, leaving plenty of time for a guided sightseeing tour. This makes the trip an excellent choice for travellers who cannot spend several days exploring Bukhara.

Tour itinerary:
In the morning, transfer to Samarkand railway station to board the Afrosiyob high-speed train to Bukhara (08:33–10:10). Upon arrival, your guide and driver will meet you at Bukhara railway station and take you to the historic centre for a guided sightseeing tour of the Old City.
You will visit the Lyabi-Khauz Ensemble, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Trading Domes, Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque, Miri-Arab Madrasah, Ark Fortress, Bolo-Khauz Mosque, Samanids Mausoleum and Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum.
After the tour, transfer to Bukhara railway station for your return journey to Samarkand on the Afrosiyob high-speed train (16:22–18:05). Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel or home. End of the Bukhara Tour from Samarkand.
