The "Valleys and Canyons of Kyrgyzstan" Tour will take you through the expansive valleys and breathtaking canyons of Kyrgyzstan, showcasing their beauty. You'll visit places like Chon Kemin Valley, Karkara Valley, Jety Oguz Rocks, Skazka Canyon, and Bokonbaevo Village. While these names might sound exotic and unfamiliar now, visiting these locations will leave a lasting impression and create lifelong memories. You can look forward to horseback riding across vast green valleys, witnessing towering, majestic mountains, assembling a yurt like a true nomad, and staying in a yurt camp surrounded by nature. You'll also have the chance to visit an outdoor museum showcasing ancient petroglyphs, explore scenic spots, and discover more about romantic locales like Broken Heart Gorge, Fairytale Canyon and Seven Bulls Rocks, among others.

Tour itinerary:

Day 1: Bishkek – Arrival
 
Arrival to Bishkek. Meeting with your driver. Transfer to the city.
Check in to the hotel after 14-00.
Free time. Overnight.
Driving distance: 40 km
Day 2: Bishkek – Chon-Kemin valley
 
First part of the day will be city tour in Bishkek.
Start city tour after late breakfast. Sightseeing tour includes the Monument of Kyrgyz National hero Manas, Changing of Guards of Honor, Kurmanjan Datka and Lenin statues, main Ala Too Square, governmental buildings, Oak park and Fine Art gallery under clear sky.
A sightseeing tour of Bishkek comes to an end at Victory Square dedicated to the WWII.

After that, we begin our journey with a trip to the Chon-Kemin valley.
Upon arrival, we will stay at the Ashuu Tor Guest House. Take a walk through the village of Kalmak Ashuu.
Options for this day (for an additional fee):

  1. Horse rental and a trip to the Close Mountains;
  2. Horseback riding nearby;
  3. Installation of a yurt (house of nomads);
  4. Swimming in the pool.
Dinner and overnight stay at the guesthouse.
Driving distance: 165 km / 3 hours
Day 3: Chon Kemin valley – Karkara valley
 
After breakfast, drive to the Karkara Valley through the Boom Gorge and to the northern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul.

We reach the city of Cholpon Ata. We have several visits here:

  1. A place with petroglyphs in the open air.
  2. The Ethnographic Museum.
After the excursions, continue along the northern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul.
After that, we reach a beautiful area on the border with Kazakhstan – Karkara. Here we stay in a luxurious yurt camp with private facilities.
Here we have time to explore the surroundings, walking up and down the canyon, climbing the nearest hill to admire the panoramic view, riding a horse or mountain bike. It's up to you and your preferences.
Dinner at the Karkara camp.
Overnight.
Driving distance: 340 км / 5-6 hours
Day 4: Karkara valley – Karakol town – Jety Oguz canyon, Skazka canyon – Bokonbaevo village
 
Optional: early morning helicopter tour to the Yuzhny Inylchek glacier. The best attraction in Kyrgyzstan and a very deep impression for a lifetime (July-August only).

After breakfast, transfer to the city of Karakol.
On the way to Karakol, visit the N. M. Przhevalsky Museum, then the Dungan Mosque, a unique building in the style of a Chinese pagoda, which is still an active mosque, and the Russian Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity, built of wood in the city of Karakol.
After that, a trip to the Jety Oguz canyon to admire the scenery and take some photos. At the beginning of the gorge you will see the famous “Broken Heart Rock". Going further up to the panorama, you will see the famous cliffs of the Seven Bulls.
After that go to Skazka Canyon (also Fairytale) to see the beautiful landscape and panorama of Issyk-Kul Lake from the canyon.

Optional: Eagle hunting show near Bokonbaevo village.
Evening arrival at the Bokonbaevo village.
Dinner and rest at the guest house.
Driving distance: 285 km / 6 hours
Day 5: Bokonbaevo village – Bishkek city
 
In the morning after breakfast we will depart to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
On the way we stop by to see the Burana Tower (UNESCO site), which is located in Tokmok town.
Optional: horse games at the Burana Tower.
Arrival in Bishkek. Check-in to the hotel and free time.
Driving distance: 300 km / 6 hours
Day 6: Bishkek – Departure
 
Transfer to the airport. Flight back home.
Driving distance: 30 km / 40 min
