Tour itinerary:

Day 1: Samarkand – arrival
 
Arrive in Samarkand. Meet your driver and transfer to the hotel. Check in at 14:00.
A guide and driver will meet you at the hotel, which is a starting point of the Samarkand city tour. The tour program includes visits to Gur-Emir Mausoleum, Registan Square, Bibi Khanum Mosque, Shahi-Zinda Necropolis, Ulugbek Observatory and the central Samarkand Bazaar.
Free time. Car with driver at your disposal.
Duration of sightseeing tour: 5-6 hours
Day 2: Samarkand – Tashkent – Samarkand
 
At 05:00 transfer to the railway station for the high-speed train, Afrosiyob departing to Tashkent at 06:08, arrive in Tashkent at 08:18. A driver will meet you at the station and transfer to breakfast.
After breakfast a guide will join you and you will start Tashkent city tour. Begin at the Courage Monument, which commemorates the 1966 earthquake and honours the resilience of the people of Tashkent, before continuing to the historic Old City. Visit the Mausoleum of Kaffal Shashi, walk past the Khast-Imam Complex, view the exterior of the Islamic Civilization Center, and stroll along the newly developed Zarkaynar Street. Next, explore Chorsu Bazaar and a local pottery gallery, then ride the beautifully decorated Tashkent Metro to the modern city centre. Enjoy free time for lunch on Taras Shevchenko Street, known for its lively dining scene, then continue to the State Museum of Applied Arts and admire the elegant facade of the Alisher Navoi Opera and Ballet Theatre, concluding the tour at Amir Timur Square. Free time. At 17:45 you will be transferred to the railway station for train ride back to Samarkand, departure at 18:45, arrival in Samarkand 20:53. On arrival, transfer to the hotel.
Day 3: Samarkand – Shakhrisabz – Samarkand
 
Our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel in Samarkand. Depart Samarkand and drive to Shakhrisabz (90 km, 2 h.). Have a short city tour in Shakhrisabz. Visit Mausoleum of Jakhongir in Dor-us Saodat Memorial Complex, remains of Ak-Saray Palace, Dor-ut Tilavat Ensemble with Kok-Gumbaz Mosque and burial vault of Tamerlane’s father.
In the afternoon return to Samarkand. On the way stop for lunch in the Kitab mountains pass. Arrive in Tashkent, transfer to hotel. Transport for dinner will be at your disposal.
Duration of sightseeing: 2 hours
Day 4: Samarkand – departure
 
Transfer to Samarkand International airport.

  • All transfers 1-2 pax by sedan standard type car; 3-7 pax by van type car;
  • Accommodation with breakfast: standard double/twin room for Standard, Comfort and Premium options;
  • Economy-class ticket for train Samarkand-Tashkent-Samarkand (on rare occasions when the high-speed train is unavailable, we will replace it with the most- comfortable class of regular train);
