Short Uzbekistan Tour

Book 3-day Uzbekistan tour from Shymkent to make the best of your travel to this part of the world. You will explore the present capital city – Tashkent, historical capital city – Samarkand and the holy Bukhara, where 7000 saints lived in the past. Explore the heart of Central Asia - its unique culture, rich history, awe inspiring architecture and hospitable people.

Tour itinerary:

Day 1: Shymkent – Tashkent – Bukhara
You will be met by Advantour driver at Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan border point Chernyaevka and transferred to a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch meet your guide to start sightseeing in the capital of Uzbekistan, the biggest city in Central Asia. Visit Old City part of Tashkent with Khast-Imam Complex, where the world famous Quran book of Caliph Uthman has been preserved. In Khast-Imam visit Madrasah of Barak-Khan, Tillya-Sheykh Mosque, Mausoleum of the Saint Kaffal Shashi and the Islamic Institute of Imam al-Bukhari. Explore Chorsu Bazaar. Then take a ride on Tashkent Metro to city center, visit Amir Timur Square, Independence Square and Applied Arts Museum.
At 20:30 transfer to train station. Take the night train departing to Bukhara at 22:00 (605 km). Arrival on the next day at 05:55. Overnight in the train.
Duration of sightseeing tour: 4-5 hours
Day 2: Bukhara – Samarkand
Arrival in Bukhara at 05:55. Transfer to the hotel for breakfast and leave luggage at the reception. After breakfast take a walking sightseeing tour with a guide in historic center of Bukhara enlisted by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Visit Lyabi Khauz Ensemble, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Chor-Minor Madrasah, trade domes, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan madrasahs, Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque and Miri-Arab Madrasah, legendary Ark Fortress, Bolo-Khauz Mosque, Ismail Samani and Chashma-Ayub mausoleums. In the afternoon depart Bukhara and drive to Samarkand (280km. 4h*). Arrive in Samarkand, check in to the hotel.

Day 3: Samarkand – Tashkent
After breakfast a guide and driver will meet you at the hotel to start city tour. You will visit Gur-Emir Mausoleum, Registan Square, Bibi- Khanum Mosque, Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, Ulugbek Observatory and Siab bazaar, the central market in Samarkand. In the afternoon drive to Tashkent (280km. 4h*). Arrive in Tashkent, transfer to Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan border point Chernyaevka. End of the tour.
