Finish up in Armenia, with a tour of Yerevan and a trip to Tsakhkadzor, a historic and scenic destination with fine ski routes. Tour itinerary:

Day 1: Baku
 
Arrival in Baku. You will be met by our driver and transferred to hotel for overnight. Check-in at noon.
Day 2: Baku – Shahdag ski resort
 
At 10:00, start sightseeing tour in Baku. Visit Martyrs’ Lane, called ‘Shehidler Khiyabany’ among locals. When you walk through Martyrs’ Lane, you will find a beautiful view overlooking Baku’s coastline. Continue touring new Baku and exploring architecture of 19-20 centuries: Nizami Street, Fountain Square, Nizami Ganjavi monument, Rasul-Zade Street. Pay a visit to Azerbaijan History National Museum and move to the old part of the city – Icheri Sheher. Visit Maiden Tower, Shirvanshahs’ Palace, Caravanserai, and market square with numerous art studios and souvenir stalls. An excellent round-up to the city tour will be visit to the richest bank of Azeri carpets – National Carpets Museum.
In the afternoon, depart to Shahdag (210 km, 3-4 hours). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Shahdag ski resort
 
Spend full day skiing at the first and the largest ski resort in Azerbaijan. Located near Shahdag National Park, the resort was open in 2012. Shahdag offers 7 lifts, 5 magical carpets, 14 slopes (5 green, 5 blue, 4 red), 17 km of skiable area with 2 free style areas. Sports area is located on altitude between 1,435 and 2,525 m above the sea level. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Shahdag ski resort – Baku – Tbilisi
 
Enjoy skiing in Shakhdag in the morning. Afternoon drive back to Baku for evening flight to Tbilisi. Transfer to Tbilisi hotel on arrival for overnight.
Day 5: Tbilisi – Gudauri
 
Check-out from hotel till noon. In the morning, start a sightseeing tour in Tbilisi. Start at Holy Trinity Cathedral, one of the largest orthodox cathedrals in the world. Continue to Metekhi Church and the monument to Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of Tbilisi. Take cable car to Narikala Fortress to enjoy breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Walk down to the district of Sulphur bath houses passing by the only mosque in Tbilisi. Stroll through the Sharden area full of narrow streets with cozy cafés, wine tasting bars, souvenir shops, and breathe in the living past. Visit Sioni Cathedral, Anchiskhati Basilica, the clock tower of famous Rezo Gabriadze Theatre, and cross the Bridge of Peace to Rike Park.
In the afternoon, depart to Gudauri ski resort (120 km, 2 h). The route will take over the Georgian Military Highway up North towards the border with Russia. On the way, stop at Jvari Church, a true architectural masterpiece of the early Medieval Period overlooking the confluence of Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers from the top of the hill. Continue to Ananuri Complex, beautifully overlooking the Jinvali reservoir. Reach Gudauri, check in to hotel. Spend your evening at fireplace enjoying traditional dishes of Georgian cuisine and having a glass of red Georgian wine. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Gudauri
 
Spend a whole day at ski resort. Gudauri is the biggest functioning ski resort in Georgia located at the average altitude of 2200 m (top lift is at 3276 m). Every year travellers neighboring countries and EU come to Gudauri offers excellent skiing, backcountry, heli-ski, giant slalom, slalom, downhill skiing on 52 km of ski pistes with 18 lifts.

Day 7: Gudauri
 
Full day skiing. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Gudauri – Tbilisi – Yerevan
 
Enjoy skiing in Gudauri in the morning. Check-out from hotel till noon.
Afternoon drive back to Tbilisi for overnight train to Yerevan (20:20 – 06:55). Overnight in sleeping compartment.
Day 9: Yerevan
 
Arrival in Yerevan at 07:00, transfer to hotel for breakfast. After ample time for rest at hotel your guide will join you for city tour in Yerevan.
One of the oldest cities of the world, Yerevan is famous as a pink city and calls visitors with its humble and at the same time splendid landscapes. Start the city tour with a visit to the 572-step Cascade Monument, which serves as the main symbol of the city. The mega scale staircase is 500 meters high and 50 meters wide. A panoramic view from the monument opens up breathtaking city view with Opera House, Mount Ararat, Swan Lake, Republic Square, and Abovyan Avenue, which you will also walk by during the tour. Continue to the Armenian Genocide memorial complex on the hill of Tsitsernakaberd. In the evening, enjoy farewell dinner and traditional folklore show. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Yerevan – Tsakhadzor – Yerevan
 
Morning transfer to Tsakhadzor ski resort (60 km, 1 h). Spend your day at Tsakhadzor ski resort. There are 5 lifts, more than 30 km skiable area with the longest track of 8 km. Downhill of resort is at 1966 m, top hill – 2819 m. In the evening, return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11: Yerevan – departure
 
Check-out from hotel till noon. Free time till transfer to Yerevan International Airport. Departure.
