The 8-day Highlights of Uzbekistan Tour from Malaysia is a rich and varied journey that showcases the finest examples of Eastern architecture, introduces the region’s ancient culture, and concludes with time to unwind in mountain landscapes. Most of the itinerary focuses on Uzbekistan’s leading tourist cities, followed by a relaxing stay in the Zaamin Mountains.
The tour begins with your arrival from Kuala Lumpur in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. The first day is set aside for rest after the long flight, while the second day features a comprehensive sightseeing programme covering historical monuments, museums, and a lively oriental bazaar. You will then travel by high-speed train to Bukhara, a sacred city known for its ancient mosques, mausoleums, and madrasas, where the atmosphere of the Middle Ages is especially well preserved. The journey continues to Samarkand, a city that served as the capital of great empires for centuries and still reflects its former grandeur through monumental mosque and madrasa portals, richly decorated interiors, and legendary mausoleums. The tour concludes with a day of relaxation in Zaamin, a mountain region known for its exceptionally pure air scented with pine forests, natural springs and waterfalls, deep canyons, and ancient trees.
Below, you can explore the detailed itinerary of the tour to Uzbekistan from Malaysia. This journey leads deep into the heart of Central Asia, far from oceans and seas, where vast deserts meet high snow-capped mountains.
