The Uzbekistan Classic Tour from Malaysia combines Islamic cultural heritage with the diverse natural landscapes of Central Asia. During the journey, you will visit ancient cities of the Silk Road, admire monumental mosques and mausoleums, and gain insight into local Muslim traditions.
The tour begins in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, where historical complexes, oriental bazaars, and modern city districts coexist in a distinctive urban landscape. You will then travel to Khiva, a fortress city whose preserved walls retain the appearance of the city as it stood in the 19th century. The route continues to Bukhara, one of Uzbekistan’s most important cultural and religious centres, home to outstanding monuments of oriental architecture, major mosques, revered shrines, and historic mausoleums concentrated within the old city. The culmination of the journey is Samarkand, once the capital of great empires, renowned for its monumental madrasas of the Middle Ages and a legacy shaped by centuries of history, stories, and legends. This eventful journey through the heart of Asia concludes with a relaxing stay in the Zaamin Mountains, where pine-scented air, plateau walks, and dramatic canyon landscapes offer a change of pace. The tour ends in Tashkent, from where you will fly back to Kuala Lumpur.
Explore the detailed itinerary of the Uzbekistan tour from Malaysia and prepare for a comfortable and informative journey through the region’s centuries-old Islamic heritage, vibrant local culture, and distinctive Central Asian landscapes.
