The route continues to Bukhara, one of Uzbekistan’s most important cultural and religious centres, home to outstanding monuments of oriental architecture, major mosques, revered shrines, and historic mausoleums concentrated within the old city. The culmination of the journey is Samarkand, once the capital of great empires, renowned for its monumental madrasas of the Middle Ages and a legacy shaped by centuries of history, stories, and legends. This eventful journey through the heart of Asia concludes with a relaxing stay in the Zaamin Mountains, where pine-scented air, plateau walks, and dramatic canyon landscapes offer a change of pace. The tour ends in Tashkent, from where you will fly back to Kuala Lumpur.

Tour itinerary:

Day 1: Tashkent – arrival
 
Arrive in Tashkent. Meet your driver and get transferred to the hotel. Check-in is from 14:00. Enjoy a rest day free from activities.
Day 2: Tashkent – Urgench – Khiva
 
After breakfast at the hotel, you will get on a guided sightseeing tour in the capital of Uzbekistan, the largest city in Central Asia. You begin with a visit to the Courage Monument, one of the key symbols of Tashkent’s 20th-century history. Next, you will explore the Old City part of Tashkent, with the Khast-Imam Complex, where the world-famous Quran of Caliph Uthman is preserved. You will then continue with a drive to the Rishtan Ceramics Center, located in the restored Kallakhona madrasah near Chorsu Bazaar. Next, immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere of Chorsu Bazaar, a true eastern marketplace. Continue your journey with a ride on Tashkent's Metro, renowned as one of the most beautiful metro systems in the world, to the city center. Visit the Applied Arts Museum and stroll through Navoi Theater to reach Amir Timur Square, where your captivating Tashkent City Tour comes to an end.
Following the tour, transfer to the domestic airport for an evening flight to Urgench departing at 20:40 (1093 km, 1 h 30 min). Upon arrival in Urgench at 22:10, transfer to the hotel in Khiva (30 km, 35 min). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Khiva – Bukhara
 
After breakfast start your sightseeing tour of Khiva. In Ichan-Qala Fortress visit Kunya-Ark, Sayeed Alauddin Mausoleum, Arab-Mukhamadkhan Madrasah, Oq-Masjid Mosque, Madrasah of Hodjan Berdi-biya, Shirgazikhan Madrasah, Abdullakhan Madrasah, Juma Mosque, Kalta-Minor Minaret, Allakulikhan Madrasah, Tosh-Khovli Palace, Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum, Minaret of Islom-Khoja. In the afternoon, transfer to the railway station for the train to Bukhara 16:05-21:22. Upon arrival in Bukhara, transfer to the hotel.

Day 4: Bukhara
 
Enjoy a walking sightseeing tour with a guide in Old City. Visit Lyabi Hauz Ensemble, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Chor-Minor Madrasah, trade domes, Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque and Miri-Arab Madrasah, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan madrasahs, Ark Fortress, Bolo-Khauz Mosque, Ismail Samani and Chashma-Ayub mausoleums. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Bukhara – Samarkand
 
Check-out till noon. Start the second day with a visit to Sitorai-Mokhikhosa – summer residence of Bukhara’s last emir, unique site combining Oriental and Russian architecture. Continue to Bakhoutdin Naqshbandi Mausoleum and House Museum of Fayzulla Khodjaev. After lunch depart Bukhara and drive to Samarkand (280 km, 4 h.*). Arrive in Samarkand, check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Samarkand
 
Meet your guide and driver at the hotel lobby to start city tour. Visit spectacular Registan Square, remains of Bibi Khanum Mosque, Siab Bazaar, Ulugbek Observatory, Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis and Gur Emir Mausoleum – authentic shrine of Tamerlane. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Samarkand – Zaamin
 
09:00 Check out from the hotel in Samarkand and transfer to Zaamin National Park (200 km, 3 hrs 30 min).
Arrive at Zaamin National Park. Stop at the seven-hundred-year-old hazel tree Bobo-Yongok, then visit the Zaamin Waterfall. Lunch at the lower terminal of the cable car.
After lunch, take the cable car up to Zaamin Suffa, where your hotel is located. The ride takes about 10 minutes. Walk to the hotel and check in (150 meters). Free time.
18:00–21:00. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Zaamin – Tashkent
 
07:00–10:00 Breakfast. Free time in the morning.
12:00 Check out from the hotel and transfer to the Zaamin cable-stayed bridge (10 min).
Spend some time walking around; optional zipline or rope jumping.
14:00 Lunch at the hotel.
15:30 Transfer to the train station (80 km, 1 hr 45 min).
On the way, stop at an observation deck to take photos of the Suffa Plateau and the construction site of the “Suffa” International Radio Astronomy Observatory.
Continue descending with a few more stops to see the thousand-year-old juniper, Sherbuloq Spring, and another observation deck. Then continue driving and exit Zaamin National Park.
Make a final stop at an observation deck for panoramic views of the Zaamin Reservoir. A small bazaar nearby offers local snacks for purchase.
18:00 Arrival at Dashtobod train station.
18:52 Afrosiyob train to Tashkent.
20:07 Arrival in Tashkent. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Tashkent – departure
 
Check-out from the hotel at noon. Free time until transfer to Tashkent International Airport. Departure. End of Uzbekistan Classic Tour from Malaysia.
