What an amazing opportunity and tour! Our group saw and experienced so many wonderful things. All of the accomodations, trips, and meals were fantastic. I would definitely do another tour with Advantour.

I had an incredible experience on this organized trip! Everything was thoughtfully planned, from the seamless logistics to the excellent accommodations, which made the journey both comfortable and enjoyable. What truly made the trip unforgettable, though, were the warm and welcoming Uzbeki people and the absolutely delicious local cuisine. A special highlight was our guide, Zahid - knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate. He brought each destination to life and made the experience even more meaningful. I’ve been meaning to write but got carried away by errands since I return.
It was “ a journey of my life”! I cannot overstated the excitement and the depth of experience I underwent. I’m well-traveled, but this journey was exceptional. Let me share with you my comments, in an organized way:
• Weather: I realize that you tried hard … and were successful. I came fully equipped with heavy winter gear – which I did not use (only on the last day on the mountains). Weather was mild and I got most of the “off-season” advantages.
• The country: amazing! A tourist delight. It was particularly fascinating for me as a student of early Islam and classical Arabic. The way everything is preserved and maintained is most impressive.
• Advantour:
- Tour operator: Olga is a pro. She knows her work in and out: punctual, informative, polite, responsive and most effective. I shopped for travel agencies and you are undoubtedly in the lead. I had agents who gave me sky-rocketing quotes, as if the inquiry is not attached to earth. Then there were those who were “hungry” and did not let me go. You did an excellent job, no bargaining and reliable.
- Logistics: everything worked out perfectly. Fahreddin waited for me upon arrival. His Toyota limo was a treat and I was lucky to have him for two more days. He is gentle and forthcoming, and his English is good. Guides showed on time, hotel were as expected (see below), in short – well-functioned.
- Guides: Dylia was excellent. Well-experienced, didn’t brainwash me with dates and chronology and catered to my request to see “non-tourist” sights. Kamilla is a gem. Young, smart, educated, well-informed, low-keyed, but high velocity, creative and gentle. I had some medical issues in Bukhara to which she and her husband catered compassionately. Valentina tried hard, too hard. She is and has a fountain of knowledge, was trying hard, but is somewhat dated. Still – she made every effort successfully.
- Drivers: Fahreddin – an asset. Farhat – less accustomed to deal with foreign visitors, took him a while to open up ,but then integrated well (and took me to his relative’s farm).
- Trains – perfect!
- Food – exquisite; we tried whatever I was longing for.
- Hotels: Tashkent – super! Can go for 5* hotel. Modern, functional, rich breakfast. Bukhara – a bit disappointing as this is a boutique hotel in a restored home, but the owners were extremely nice. Samarkand – very well graded, renovated modern and forthcoming.
- Extra day in the mountains – a surprisingly welcoming addition. A must for unwinding.
- Pricing: reasonable for what I got.
• I hope to have covered most points. I thank you for handling my trip so efficiently. I realize there’s a lot of competition, but you are doing the right thing. (Flying Air Uzbekistan on Business was also a treat).

We had a wonderful time in Uzbekistan.
Advantour has done an outstanding job to get everything organized for us. Our tour went smoothly and we appreciate the communication lines being open all the time. We felt we can always count on you during our stay there.
The guides in each city were excellent, they were flexible and provided just enough level of historical and cultural information for us.
We enjoyed our visit to Registan Square, strolling through the old town Bukhara and Besh Qozon restaurant in Tashkent (I think it’s a must on a tour).
We think you could suggest more of optional activities for customers that they could choose to either do or not to do as part of the tour, like music/dance performances, tickets to ballet, opera or other experiences.
Also, the trains were very comfortable but maybe some of the customers would appreciate an option to upgrade to VIP class (instead of economy coach).
We will definitely recommend Advantour to any of our friends that would like to travel to Uzbekistan.

The nine-day itinerary that Munir from Advantours planned for my family was meticulously organized, and far exceeded our expectations.
We are a family of five, my husband and I plus three 20-somethings daughters and one fiancee. Each one of us had different interests, but all are avid followers of crafts, especially ceramics and fabric. Given the varying interests that each one had, we invested a lot of time in working with Munir to curate an itinerary that captured each one's favorite destinations.
Munir was an absolute pleasure to work with. He patiently swapped draft itineraries with us for a couple of weeks. We appreciated his meticulous attention to detail and his 'deep listening' to understand exactly what we were looking for - from boutique hotels to excellent guides to wonderful experiences, and unusual stops at different studios and markets.
Munir's investment in what each and every day would look like gave us the confidence that this would be a first-rate experience. Indeed, from the minute we landed in Tashkent until our very last day in Bukhara, there was no detail left unattended. His choices of hotels, guides, restaurants, sites and activities were all thought through. We gave him guidance as to what we were looking for, and he was able to give us feedback and suggest mutliple options that met our needs and interests.
We also appreciated how Munir respected our budget, and worked within it. We do not take this for granted.
The guides, Medina, Dilfuza and Susana, were all excellent. Each one had her own style. Each one paid great attention to detail, and went out of their way to make sure that each day was meeting our expectations. They were great in being conversational as well as bringing the local stories to life.
We had asked Munir to arrange a one-day trek for us, and he went out of his way to ensure that it was the right degree of challenge, and that all aspects of the day were thought through, again with a terrific guide, Dimitri.
All in, we highly recommend working with Munir and the team at Advantour. Uzbekistan is an amazing country to visit; and having the right team on the ground will ensure that each day brings remarkable experiences.

It was wonderful trip! Everything was perfectly organised, guides were very knowledgeable and flexible, all our requests were met.

This tour was far beyond expectations + normal standards. I was so happy with every aspect of organization + staff. The support was beyond anything I`ve experienced. Staff were kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, very professional. Communication was excellent. I would return again with this company + recommend to my friends. Standard was very high + gives a wonderful impression of Uzbekistan.

The tour was very interesting we got the opportunity to see and learn about the history, the culture, the traditions of Uzbekistan. We met nice and friendly people, tasted the good uzbek food and stayed in lovely hotels.
The guide Vadim is smart and very nice and pleasant guide. Valentina is very interesting lady, many stories, a lot of knowldege. Mrs. Nazira is very good guide who knows a lot, good explanations, good humor.

An excellent trip - we knew what we wanted + Advantour delivered it very well. We never use travel agencies but on this occasion pleased we used Advantour. Ms. Rozikova very professional + helpful. Changes made efficiently as requested. Very impressed as trip went really well.

It was different from all the travel I had been before. All the sightseeings were amazingly beautiful. I saw the different site of Islamic countries. People in Uzbekistan were friendly and most of them were willing to help even though we spoke different languages. The arrangement of the tour was great and I had a chance to take domestic flight and express train trip in this tour so that I could know more about the country. All the guides: Vadim, Susana, Mansur and Mavlyuda were good and informative. They all spoke fluent English.

Our tour was efficiently organised. The guide was knowledgable and well informed. We could not get hotels of our choice despite a fairly long advance planning. Extra charges for Hotel Registan was not justified considering the overall pricing of the tour. Fees for visits to monuments was covered in the package but we had to pay for taking pictures. Amount was not much but we should have been informed that this fee is extra. When we landed at Bukhara airport we had to wait a long time for our mini bus to arrive. All in all we had a very enjoyable trip- thanks to Advantour.
