Tour itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Tashkent, MONDAY
 
As you arrive in Tashkent, you will be met by Advantour driver and transferred to the hotel. After check in to the hotel at noon, your guide will meet you to start sightseeing in the capital of Uzbekistan, the biggest city in Central Asia. You will visit Old City, Khast-Imom Complex where the world famous Quran of Caliph Uthman (Ottoman) has been preserved. Khast-Imom consists of the Barak-Khan Madrasah, Tilla Sheikh Mosque, Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum and Imam al-Bukhari Islamic Institute. Explore all colours of the East at Chor-Su Bazaar. City tour is incomplete without a ride on Tashkent Metro, the first underground system in Central Asia. Touring the city’s famous spots will round up with Amir Temur Square, Independence Square and Applied Arts Museum. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Tashkent – Samarkand, TUESDAY
 
At 07:00 transfer from the hotel to the railway station. Fast-speed train “Afrosiyob” departs from Tashkent at 08:00 and arrives in Samarkand at 10:10 (300 km). Your guide and driver will meet you at the train station to begin the city tour in Samarkand. You will visit a spectacular Registan Square, Bibi-Khanum Mosque, Siab Bazaar, Ulugbek Observatory, Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis and Gur Emir Mausoleum, the shrine of Tamerlane. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Samarkand – Bukhara, WEDNESDAY
 
Continue sightseeing: visit Afrasiab Museum and the Tomb of Saint Daniel. Then drive to Konighil village to explore how famous Samarkand paper is made from mulberry in a traditional way. In the afternoon take the road to Bukhara (280 km, 4 h.*). Arrive in Bukhara, check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

*The drive on vans and buses is on average an hour longer.
Day 4: Bukhara, THURSDAY
 
Spend your day in fascinating Old Bukhara which is included into the UNESCO as a World Heritage Sites List. Explore Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque and Miri-Arab Madrasah, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan Madrasah, trade domes, Lyabi Hauz Ensemble, Chor-Minor Madrasah. In the afternoon visit Samani Dynasty Mausoleum, Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum, Bolo-Khauz Mosque and Arc Fortress. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Bukhara – Fergana, FRIDAY
 
Free time in the morning. Transfer to the airport at midday, flight to Fergana HY 1331 at 14:40, arrival in Fergana at 16:35. Transfer to and overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Fergana – Margilan – Rishtan – Ok Yer – Fergana, SATURDAY
 
In the morning, drive from Fergana to Margilan and visit Said Akhmad-Khoja Madrasah. Today, madrasah is home to a number of craftsmen producing handmade carpets and silk. Visit a traditional market and continue to Yodgorlik Silk factory to learn how silk with traditional Ikat patterns is produced. Drive to Rishtan to the house of a well-known ceramic master Rustam Usmanov whose works are exhibited worldwide. Enjoy a pottery workshop and ceramic collection in a small museum. Continue to the house of craftsman Bakhrom-aka to visit a traditional Kyrgyz family manufacturing wool carpets. After Ok Yer village return to Fergana. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Fergana – Kokand – Tashkent, SUNDAY
 
Depart Fergana and drive to Tashkent (320 km between cities). On the way, stop in the city of Kokand
where you will visit the Khudoyar-Khan Palace, Jami Mosque, Norbutabek and Kamol-Kazy Madrasahs. Continue driving to Tashkent. The steep road* which connects Fergana Valley with the rest of Uzbekistan runs via the picturesque mountain pass Kamchik (2267 meters above the sea level). Arrival in Tashkent. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Tashkent-departure, MONDAY
 
Check out from the hotel at midday. Transfer to the airport. End of the tour.
