The best way to explore Uzbekistan for the first time is to take a journey to the biggest cultural centers of this country. In this tour, you will see all main attractions of Tashkent, Khiva, Bukhara and Samarkand. In a week you will visit many mosques, medreses and mausoleums, each of them differs with its architecture and has an important meaning in the history of this amazing land. In addition, you will experience everyday life of locals and dive into eastern hospitality. You will take with yourself lots of warm memories of sunny Uzbekistan.

Tour itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Tashkent
 
Arrive in Tashkent. You will be met by Advantour driver and transferred to the hotel. Check in to the hotel at noon.
Meet your guide to start sightseeing in the capital of Uzbekistan, the biggest city in Central Asia. Visit Old City part of Tashkent with Khast-Imom Complex where the world famous Quran of Caliph Uthman – Ottoman has been preserved. In Khast-Imom visit Madrasah of Barak-Khan, Tilla Sheikh Mosque, Mausoleum of the Saint Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi and the Islamic Institute of Imam al-Bukhari. Explore Chor-Su Bazaar. Then take a ride on Tashkent Metro to city center with Amir Temur Square, Independence Square and Applied Arts Museum. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Tashkent – Urgench – Khiva
 
Morning transfer to local airport for flight departing to Urgench (1093 km, 1.5 hour). Arrival and transfer to hotel in Khiva (30 km, 35 min.). Drop your luggage at hotel (check-in at noon).
Proceed for guided walking sightseeing tour in UNESCO World Heritage site Ichan-Kala Fortress. Visit Mukhammad Amin Khan Madrasah, Mukhammad Rahimkhan Madrasah, Kalta Minor, Kunya-Ark, Juma Mosque, Toshkhovli Palace, Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum, Minaret of Islom Khodja. Free time in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Khiva – Bukhara
 
At 08:00, transfer to Urgench airport for flight HY 1052 to Bukhara. The flight Urgench – Bukhara operates 2 times a week: Tuesday and Sunday*. Departure at 10:10, arrival at 11:10. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. Enjoy a walking sightseeing tour with a guide in Old City. Visit Lyabi Hauz Ensemble, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Chor-Minor Madrasah, trade domes, Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque and Miri-Arab Madrasah, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan madrasahs, Ark Fortress, Bolo-Khauz Mosque, Ismail Samani and Chashma-Ayub mausoleums. Overnight at the hotel.
Duration of sightseeing tour: 6-7 hours
*In case there is no Urgench-Bukhara flight, the destination will be reached by car.
Day 4: Bukhara – Samarkand
 
Start the second day in Bukhara with a visit to Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa – summer residence of Bukhara’s last emir (ruler), unique site combining Oriental and Russian architecture. Continue to Bakhoutdin Naqshbandi Mausoleum and Chor-Bakr Necropolis. At 14:40 transfer from the hotel to the train station. Take "Afrosiyob" train to Samarkand departing at 15:52, arriving at 17:25 (270 km). Upon arrival the driver will transfer you to the hotel in Samarkand. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Samarkand
 
Meet your guide and driver at the hotel to start city tour. Visit spectacular Registan Square, remains of Bibi Khahum Mosque, Siab Bazaar and Gur Emir Mausoleum – authentic shrine of Tamerlane. Overnight at the hotel.
Duration of sightseeing tour: 5-6 hours
Day 6: Samarkand
 
Continue sightseeing: visit Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, Ulugbek Observatory and Tomb of Saint Daniel. Then drive to Koni Ghil village to explore traditional way of making Samarkand paper from mulberry. Finish the tour at Afrosiyob Museum.
Enjoy free time with car and driver at your disposal after the sightseeing tour. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Samarkand – Tashkent (train)
 
Check-out from hotel till noon. Free day in Samarkand.
At 16:00, transfer to railway station. Take the fast-speed "Afrosiyob" train departing to Tashkent at 17:00 (300 km). Scheduled arrival time is 19:10. Pick-up and transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Tashkent – departure
 
Check-out from hotel till noon. Transfer to Tashkent International Airport. End of the tour.
