Three of us recently completed a 10-day comfort tour of Uzbekistan's four major cities with Advantour, and the experience absolutely exceeded our expectations. Here is why I highly recommend them:
Exceptional Guides: The quality of the guides was outstanding. Their explanations were incredibly detailed, bringing the deep history and architecture of the region to life.
Nicely Paced Itinerary: The schedule was well-balanced and always started on time. We covered all the magnificent historical sites without ever feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Good for the elderly.
Professional Driver: Our driver who spent time with us from Khiva to Samarkand was fantastic, highly cooperative.
Rapid Support: The behind-the-scenes support from the Advantour staff was top-notch. We encountered a few unexpected issues, and the staff troubleshooted them quickly.
Seamless Dining: The agent advised local eateries and helping us secure all our restaurant reservations. We did enjoy various cuisines every day.
Overall, it was a flawlessly executed trip. Thank you for a memorable journey!

We were especially happy with Ilhom, the driver from Khiva to Samarkand, who was an excellent careful driver. Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful at every place. He is a credit to your organisation and really made our experience of Uzbekistan so enjoyable.
As for the itinerary, we thought that it was ok but would be much, much better in reverse. So Tashkent-Samarkand-Bukhara-Khiva-Tashkent, would go from the newest cities to the older ones in a better order.
That would be our suggestion.

Everything was just perfect - the hotels, the guides and the drivers we had.
In Tashkent we were with the guide Dima - he is extremely knowledgeable and with a great sense of humor.
Saida in Khiva is explaining about the city and the history as if telling a fairy tale. An amazing guide and fine lady.
Dilfusa and Djuli in Bukhara were an explosion of knowledge, fun and attention to everything.
Our drivers in all locations were always on time. The gentleman that was driving us in Bukhara ( I am sorry forgot his name) was always going the extra mile in his help to us.
In Samarkand we saw the evening show - you might want to emphasize to the tourists, as we figured it out by chance and it was magnificent.

Our private 17-day tour was amazing. Shavkat from Advantour had the professional skills and patience to plan our travel meticulously and adapt all to our wishes and our age. He helped us plan the travel and provided support throughout our stay. Everything was taken care of: travel (plane, chauffeured car, train); hotels were very well located, comfortable, clean with kind staff. We had knowledgeable guides in Tashkent, Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand - charming and attentive Fariza, Mahfirat, Hilola, Belova, Dilnoza, All the drivers were highly professional and most attentive. Jamila hosted a dinner for my husband and me in her home in Samarkand. Lovely dinner, beautiful mother and daughter. To sum up: highly recommended travel to Uzbekistan, and highly recommended agency and its staff.

We wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our trip in Uzbekistan, and to thank you for all the work put in by you and your team to making it go so smoothly. In particular, we'd like to mention our guide in Samarkand, Ms Dilnoza, as a truly exceptional guide who was marvellous company and so knowledgeable on all kinds of subjects. We especially enjoyed our time with her in that extraordinary city, and I'd also like to add that our driver, Jahongir, was an excellent driver and was consistently thoughtful, kind and helpful to us throughout our time together.

1. Quality of Tour Guides: I want to make a special note to say that all the tour guides were very helpful, professional, and knowledgeable about Uzbekistan. A special mention goes to Kamilla, who prepared handwritten notes and gifts for my wife and I, which was a pleasant surprise. She made the experience in Bukhara fun and engaging throughout the tour. Zahid was also extremely knowledgeable and helped us bargain for good prices in the bazaar.
2. Constant Communication: I appreciate the amount of communication that you, the tour guides, and even the drivers made. All very clear and responsive. I liked that I knew who I was meeting at every new destination during the trip. I didn't have any anxiety around whether the guide/driver would show up or at what time, which made us feel very assured and safe.
3. Flexibility of Itinerary: I like how flexible the itinerary was and how fast the tour guides were able to accommodate. Aside from the EU Summit that caused changes to the itinerary, our guide also took us to the same site twice because my wife had missed it the day before due to her illness. This was a last-minute request and they were very accommodating.
4. Historical Landmarks: I like that the itinerary covered many of the main attractions and I feel like we touched on most if not all of the highlights - we didn't feel like we missed out on anything, and that's great.
5. Aziz's Car: The BYD was very luxurious and comfortable.
6. Punctuality: EVERYBODY was super punctual throughout the trip. We didn't have to wait for anybody.
7. Crowne Plaza in Tashkent: Wonderful hotel, wonderful staff, wonderful breakfast. Best hotel of the trip.

Overall, the trip was wonderful. We truly enjoyed Uzbekistan; the people, the sights and the food all exceeded our expectations and we hope to return soon with our kids to show them this amazing place. We have also been sharing our photos and stories with friends, urging them to consider a trip as well.

We have had a splendid 10 days. The country and the organization have exceeded all our expectations. We feel the decisions made with Shavkat`s advice to 1) doing sightseeing in Tashkent immediately on arrival; 2) flying to and from Urgench (for Khiva) on the same day and 3) to spend our `extra and free` day in Bukhara were absolutely right. Our only disappointment was the hotel in Samarkand and that our first choice of the Bibikhanum was not available in view of our earl request.

It was an astonishingly well organised tour, everything was on time, and we had all kind of entertainment and pleasure. People, we met were friendly, helpful and very interested in our visiting. We could meet through the tour a wide variety of different landscapes, monuments, craftsmen and artists. We regreted that we did not spend more time in Uzbekistan.

We had a wonderful trip which was extremely well organised. The driver and guides were punctual and very warm. We travelled with our kids and the comfort was much needed. Our only hurdle was keen vegetarian food at all hotels except for Ramada. It would have been great if we would have gotten regular bread and jam at the least for breakfast.

We had a wonderful tour of Uzbekistan for 11 days. We would like to express our gratitude to Advantour for making our trip a memorable one.
