A 14-day Georgia and Armenia Tour is a remarkable journey where each day brings fresh discoveries: ancient architecture, centuries-old traditions, distinctive art, flavorful cuisine, and an enduring passion for wine. The first week focuses on Georgia, followed by a week exploring Armenia.
The tour begins in Tbilisi, Georgia’s vibrant capital, where centuries-old landmarks coexist with the rhythms of modern life. From there, you’ll head into the Caucasus Mountains to visit the Gergeti Trinity Church, perched beneath Mount Kazbek. Along the way, you’ll explore extraordinary sites such as the rock-hewn city of Uplistsikhe, the cave monastery of Vardzia, the otherworldly Prometheus Cave, and the serene Martvili Canyon. The route also includes visits to historic towns, ancient fortresses, and many more fascinating locations.
On the seventh day, you’ll cross into Armenia - a country that shares some similarities with Georgia yet has its own distinct spirit. As you travel through Armenia’s ancient monasteries and citadels, you’ll make your way to Yerevan, the capital, which serves as a hub for excursions to the country’s cultural treasures: Echmiadzin, Garni, Geghard, and Khor Virap. Toward the end of the tour, you’ll return to Tbilisi, stopping at several more memorable sites along the way, including Tatev Monastery and Lake Sevan.
While two weeks are not enough to uncover all the wonders of the Caucasus, this itinerary offers a rich and varied experience that will leave lasting impressions. Take a closer look at our 14-day Georgia and Armenia Tour - an ideal choice for a two-week adventure through two exceptional countries.
